Filters
Micro Air Technologies products use either two or
three separate filters. The APU-MI 1XXX has a pre-filter for dust, pollen
and other common contaminants along with the sterilization filter for
trapping pathogens. The remote biosensor units, RB-MI 1, has a similar
pre-filter and both units have a biosensor isolation filter. Replacement
filters can be ordered 'as needed' or on a calendar based replenishment
schedule or through the automatic sensor replenishment program. The APU-MI
1001 has a sensor to detect when filters need changing and will send a
notification to users. Participants in the automatic sensor replenishment
program will automatically receive filters appropriately labeled with the
location and unit identification. When the environment calls for removal of
vapors or chemicals the optional VOC pre-filter is recommended.

From a single location manage multiple air purifier units anywhere there is
a network.
Create flexible relationships of any number of control devices to any number
of air purifier units. With the browser based
graphic interface users can cluster APUs in groups and sub groups then
authorize and assign one or any number of control devices
(mobile, laptop, desktop) to
each group.
With a single point of control set schedules for one unit, a group or the
entire installation. Mixed network protocols are supported.
Authorize who, and which devices to receive alerts and reports. Get
summarized
reports for any installation or group with
drill downs to individual unit operating data.
Product Descriptions
Air Purification Units (APUs)
Included with each APU-MI 1XXX is a mobile application (MA-IOS 1.0 or
MA-AND 1.0) for setup and control functions of the APU, monitoring
operational status, biosensor
readings and receiving alerts and alarms.
Remote biosensor units come with
similar mobile apps (MAB-IOS 1.0 or MAB-AND 1.0) which setup and control the
unit, monitor biosensor readings and receive alerts or alarms.
Data Center subscribers download mobile app (MADC - IOS 0.1 or MADC-AND 0.1) which
contains the feature set for enterprise control and reporting.
For health professionals and other users who wish to track alerts and trends
from the biosensor network, subscription based mobile apps (MABN-1OS 1.0 or
MABN-AND 1.0) provide real time and historical statistical metrics
and predictive trend analytics derived from the sensor network and stored in the Micro Air Data Center.
Micro Air Technologies APUs
are patent pending microprocessor controlled air and surface purifiers with
unique features and processes embedded in software. Initially, common
airborne contaminates like dust, pollen, dander, allergens, mold and VOCs
are removed. But instead of the manual selection of ‘low-medium-high’ we
designed environment specific operating modes, based on ANSI (American
National Standards Institute) criteria, that are tailored to how each type
of space is used.
Next we use the same natural purification process, found
in sunshine, to stop pathogens dead in their tracks. B
iosensors
that detect pathogens
work
with proprietary Capture Filter Enhancement Technology to trap and
neutralize disease causing bacteria and viruses. And to keep folks
informed, Micro Air Tec purifiers monitor the air quality of any enclosed
space and can be configured to send alerts and operating reports to
authorized users. The result is not only clean, safe pure air but real time
information about the occupied environments. Controls are in the palm of
your hand via an app downloaded to most any mobile device. The APU-MI 1XXX
electronics and software support all common networks for control of its
internal biosensors, external biosensors, portable surface disinfection
modules, automatic functions, run time operating modes and enterprise
features. Our systems are energy efficient, use low voltage, and the APU
runs at quiet to moderate sound levels (60 to 75 db) so it will not
interfere with normal room conversation.
Model APU-MI 1001's ceiling mount design draws pathogen carrying aerosols up
and away from people. It's light weight and low voltage power requirements
make installation simple. Every unit is shipped with one of three mounting
kits: the surface installation kit for solid ceilings or the 2x4 or 2x2
installation kit for suspended ceiling grids. When site configurations don't
require pathogen monitoring or when designing flexable clusters of APUs and
biosensors, Model APU-MI 1002 is a cost effective alternitive to Model
APU-MI 1001. It has the same air cleaning and purifering features as Model
APU-MI 1001 but without the internal biosnsors.
When portability is needed, the floor model (on wheels) can be conveniently
moved from room to room and plugs into any three pronged 110 volt outlet. It
has all the same features as the APU-MI 1001 and APU-MI 1002. Note the
APU-MI 1003 is with the biosensor and the APU-MI 1004 comes without the
internal biosensor.
Remote Biosensors
For adding airborne pathogen monitoring to any location or, to expand the
indoor air quality monitoring footprint for increased air purification
efficiency, the compact bio sensing platform
(RB-MI 1) is available with the same mobile device, web based network
support and enterprise features that are included with the APU. Its small
size, light weight unobtrusive enclosure installs virtually anywhere
indoors. Data produced by the sensors is stored in the data center and is
available to assigned APUs. (Not for use in damp or wet locations.)
Surface Disinfection
Eliminate manual labor and costly maintenance supplies associated
with sterilizing surfaces to rid them of potentially harmful pathogens and
molds. Micro Air's compact surface purification domes (SD-RC 1) are the
perfect solution for soft and hard surface disinfection. They are
environmentally friendly and do not generate pollution or use chemicals.
Their small lightweight profile and low voltage design makes installation a
snap. Deploying several units insures coverage of hard to reach areas and
the low cost per unit makes multi-unit surface disinfection economical. The
SD-RC 1s are paired with APU-MI 1XXX air purification units which act as
controllers. The APU manages the Surfaces Disinfection Unit's timer and
scheduling functions for the user. To keep occupants safe from UVC radiation
exposure all SD-RC 1s default to inactive (off) mode and must be in contact
with the APU-MI 1001 air purification unit for any germicidal action to
occur.
Mobile Applications
Micro Air offers four mobile apps for either the
IOS or Android operating systems. They are designed to simplify control and
make information effortlessly accessible. Each has a straightforward easy to
understand interface that guides users through the process for a quick and
seamless experience. Online guides assist you in understanding and selecting
operating modes and criteria best suited for your needs.
